Large Cap Stocks - A company that is worth at least $5 billion is considered a large cap stock. Large cap stocks are frequently owned by value investors due to their stability and buy and hold strategies.

 

Limit Order - An order to buy or sell a security at a specified price. If you wanted to buy a stock, but you wanted to set a maximum price you are willing to pay for that stock, then you would place a limit order to purchase the security.

 

Liquidity - Liquid assets are cash-based assets. Liquidity is how quickly a security can be exchanged into cash.

 

Long - If you are long on a stock, you are expecting that the stock's price will increase in the future. The opposite of being short on a stock.
